Composition of the fragrance
Colonia Assoluta opens with a beautiful, realistic note of lime zest. It is accompanied by sunny notes of orange and verbena. Their sharp contours are softened by jasmine and ylang-ylang with cooling cardamom and cedar wood. The warm, woody base notes of resin, oakmoss and vetiver give the fragrance an elegant, clean style which feels like putting on a freshly ironed white shirt in the morning.
The story of the fragrance
Colonia Assoluta is a newer interpretation of the classic Colonia fragrance. The perfumers Bertrand Duchaufour and Jean-Claude Ellena have both imprinted their personal style onto the fragrance, creating a light, luxurious cologne. It therefore retains the elegant style of an old Italian film, and yet gives a timeless impression.

About the brand Acqua di Parma
Quality, elegance, creativity, and exclusivity – those are the values that Acqua di Parma fragrances have been based on for the past 100 years.
The exclusive niche perfume house of Acqua di Parma was founded in 1916 in the heart of the old Italian city of Parma. It was here, in a little perfume workshop, where some of the best masters of their craft created a modern, light, and fresh fragrance, so unlike the strong and intense German colognes of its time. The first Italian Eau de Cologne was made strictly from natural ingredients and its composition has not changed since.
Acqua di Parma Colonia Eau de Cologne became a symbol of the 1930s and its iconic look provided by an art deco bottle still remains the brand’s trademark to this day. However, it wasn’t until the 2nd half of the 20th century when Acqua di Parma reached international success and became a sought-after and exclusive fragrance house, rising to a veritable cult status among high society.
The brand has retained its luxury status across the years and these days you can take your pick from a range of products, whether it’s Acqua di Parma women’s fragrance or men’s fragrance. Try the Acqua di Parma Profumo for her or the Acqua di Parma Colonia Oud fo him and discover the magic of quality ingredients, Italian style, and prestigious craft.
