We've got a list of things that will make travelling outdoors with your little one as pleasant and convenient as possible. We are all too aware of the things you have to think about! But it's an almost superhuman feat not to forget anything at home and to have the necessary things on hand, especially with a very young child (or children).

That's why we've put together a "must have list" of pram essentials to make sure you have everything you need for peace of mind when travelling with your little ones.

First of all, you will appreciate a practical and spacious pram bag, where you can store all your belongings that you and your smaller self will definitely use outdoors. In the bag, you will find space for water bottles - one for you and also a baby bottle for water or infant tea or baby food. If you don't breastfeed anymore, you can definitely use a thermos with warm water and a milk dispenser on your travels. Alternatively, you can carry a baby food thermos with you if you plan to stay out during lunch and then put your baby to sleep in the pram.

What to put in the pram when you go for a walk?

You could use a practical blanket for cover when the sun is not so intense. During the morning or afternoon, a small snack will definitely come in handy to keep your baby satisfied and entertained in the pram, while also improving their mood. You can also use snack boxes with practical compartments where you can stack apples, crisps, biscuits and various other treats.

There are some things you can do without on a half-day outing, but basic toiletries are definitely not it. Be sure to carry a spare baby nappy (maybe two is better) and something for yourself like a ladies' "pouch" where you can keep a couple of tampons, a regular pad or a panty liner. If you are still breastfeeding or are in the process of stopping, you should also carry spare nursing pads. You will also need paper tissueswet wipes for dirty children's hands and antibacterial gel

Something for the health of you and your baby

Don't forget your child's cap or hat at home, baby cream with SPF and SPF protection for you too. For example, tanning mists and definitely an SPF-enhanced lip balm will be useful.

"For children, I would choose an SPF with mineral filters. They tend to be gentler on their skin. Unlike chemical filters, they also protect the skin from the sun's harmful rays immediately after application. However, most SPF products for little ones are recommended for use from six months of age at the earliest. Until then, the best protection is not to expose your child to the sun at all," says expert beautician Kristýna Hlaváčová from @better_skin_now.

Guaranteed fun for the little ones

If you're going for a longer walk with an infant or toddler, you'll also benefit from some pram toys. Your baby will love a hanging toy for the pram, a rattle or a carousel. Of course, it depends on the age of the child and their favourite activities. Always choose safe and healthy toys that are easy to wash or rinse and don't contain any small parts (so your child doesn't swallow them).

Beauty essentials for mums

Don't forget about yourself when it comes to pram accessories. Feeling beautiful on a walk (especially when your little baby falls asleep and you have a moment to yourself) is priceless. A comb and pocket mirror will come in handy. And of course your favourite lipstick or lip gloss. During breastfeeding, most women also perspire more due to hormonal changes, and running around all day after toddlers is physically demanding. You will therefore feel more confident with a solid deodorant or a smaller antiperspirant in the side pocket of your "pram" bag.

Carry a thermal water spray - ideally in a small travel pack. It refreshes, hydrates and soothes your skin any time of the day. And it will also help you "wake up" if you've had a rough night with your little insomniac. The sleep of babies, that's a science in itself!
