I'm sure plenty of us have tried regular eyeliner at some point. Now we’ll just direct the line a little differently, swap the black for a brighter colour and try out a brand new makeup trend.
Graphic eyeliner is all about precision, so you’ll notice every little mistake. But don’t worry! Practice makes perfect.
Take the NYX Professional Makeup Epic Wear Metallic Liquid Liner in the shade Gun Metal and draw a regular line with it. Start with the inner corner of the eye and work towards the outer corner. I would just recommend not making the lines as thick. Why? I’ll tell you right now.
Here comes line number two. Apply the brush to the eyelid again. This time not to the corner of the eye, but between the upper eyelid and the eyebrow. Then draw a line following the shape of the eye and join the flick with the lower lines. Et voilà – a new makeup trend is born!
TIP: Just top off this bold makeup look with the nude UXI BEAUTY Plumping Lipgloss with vinyl finish.
I would also call any combination of pink and red a makeup trend of 2022. So, these colours are also great for a graphic liner.
First, take the Shiseido Kajal InkArtist white liner pencil to prepare the base. Colours stand out far brighter on a white base.
Apply the pencil, again between the upper eyelid and eyebrow, and draw a curve that does not end with an upward flick. Just connect it to the outer corner of the eye instead.
Then all you need to do is an identical curve, just a little lower (or higher, depending where you started).
Once the two white lines are done, it’s time to add colour! For beautiful bold colours, the Makeup Revolution Graphic Liners palette, with its little brush, will help you.
Cover one white line in a pink shade, the other with a red shade – and that’s it! What do you think of the result?
TIP: Combine this makeup with the Lancôme L'Absolu Gloss Rôsy Plump lipgloss, which also adds volume to your lips.
White eyeliner has been a beauty trend for quite a while now because it looks great. This time reach for the NYX Professional Makeup Epic Wear Metallic Liquid Liner in Silver Metal.
Draw a regular line again from the inner to the outer corner of the eye. Make sure that the line is really thin and that it does not end up significantly thinner or thicker along its length. This will give you better results.
Draw a second line from the inner corner of your eye again, but right on the crease of your upper eyelid. Imagine that you want to frame the entire moving part of your upper eyelid. Then all you need is a little mascara and you’re done.
TIP: Don't be afraid to add a bold lipstick to light-coloured lines, such as the NOBEA Day-to-Day in Scarlet Red.
What do you think of graphic eyeliner looks? Is it one of the makeup trends you’ve got to try?
