Moroccan Clay

  • Saloos

No need for synthetics! Cleanse your body, face and hair in a natural way. Moroccan clay is a little wonder of nature you’ll fall in love with – an amazing natural alternative to shower gels, soaps and shampoos. It is rich in minerals from plants, water, earth and rocks that give it fantastic cleansing and detoxifying abilities.

Moroccan clay has been known since antiquity when it was used for hygiene and to treat skin problems. To this day, it’s popular not just with Moroccan women.

Moroccan Clay for Hair

Looking for a 100% natural shampoo? Make a hair mask out of Moroccan clay by mixing it with honey and warm water to create a paste. Apply the mixture to wet hair, leave on for 5 minutes and then enjoy your stronger, bouncier hair. The clay also removes oil and brings out your natural hair colour.

Moroccan Clay for Skin

Face mask with Moroccan clay will brighten up your skin and has fantastic yet gentle cleansing effects. It can also handle blackheads and excess sebum, plus it removes dead skin cells and other impurities. Here’s all you need:

  • 1 tablespoon of Moroccan clay
  • 2 tablespoons of water
  • a few drops of argan oil or floral water

Gently massage the mask into wet skin using circular motions (avoid your eyes and lips), leave on for about 8 minutes and rinse. Don’t let the clay mask dry completely, it would become difficult to remove. Clay can also cause a bit of dryness, so it’s better to follow it up with a moisturising face cream or facial oil.
