I was hoping for a sweet cocoa / chocolate gourmand scent, but to me, it smells like bee pollen and hazelnuts. Maybe the smell will change with time, but for now i’ll have to layer it to get a sweeter gourmand scent:(

Okay, so Choco Violet is quite a unique fragrance in my opinion. I've got way too many perfumes and nothing I have smells like this.
At first spray, on my skin, I get warm creamy chocolate cookies. It is quite shocking to me as the cookies are so realistic. The very warm cookies slowly cool and turn into an oreo cookie. At this point, it feels so edible that it is hard for me to wrap my head around, as I'm almost at a point where I'm uncertain I can wear this as a fragrance and then.....the Violet comes through with the vanilla and little bit of nuttiness and I'm like "Wow." I get just a tiny bit of the cookie vibe thereafter but the Violet and Vanilla become more prominent and take the lead for which I'm soooo happy as I wouldn't like to smell like cookies all day. Somebody once said this is like Angel Muse but I disagree, I have Angel Muse and Choco Violet is nothing like it. I think this fragrance leans feminine as it is quite sweet but people can wear whatever they want. I think too that it is quite interesting as it's not linear and from time to time you will smell something different from it.
I get over 8 hous on my skin and longer on clothes. Projection is also quite good.

Blind buy, WOW this is good. 🤤 I get a BLAST of chocolate roasted hazelnuts at first spray and in the dry down I swear I smell like I’ve been baking cookies 🍪 My first words when I sprayed this were, “COCO POPS!!!”🥣😍 I’m addicted.
The only thing I’d say is, the Violet in this is NOT a sweet powdery candied violet.💜 This Violet is extremely GREEN!! Like it still has all the stems & leaves on.🍃 Bit of an awkward note, but I realised it makes this fragrance wayyy more wearable, balanced and not sickly sweet at all! 👏
Longevity is about 6 hrs, silage is moderate. I’ve had better performance from other Manceras but the scent makes up for it 100%.

This is so yummy! The reviewer below is spot on on what this smells like. It's a chocolate covered hazelnut-violet biscuit. This lasts such a long time on my skin. One this I do disagree on is that it's feminine: This is a very unisex perfume. It's not sweet or girly. I would find this absolutely delicious on a man.

As always with Mancera you get a quality product.
The first spray is chocolate and a powdery blast of violet. Once it calms a little then the hazelnut rears its head. This is a many layered fragrance - sniff once you get milk chocolate, sniff again the violet is there and again the biscuity hazelnut.
This is a gourmand at it's finest, for me at least, an unusual one and that's a plus. Choco Violet was a blind buy, I was half afraid I would get an expensive Angel Muse as, other than the violet, there are a lot of similar ingredients. Lucky for me there are zero similarities between the two.
Projection: This is a soft one that draws you in but doesn't slap you around the face.
Longevity: It seems to last forever on me - 6 hours and counting though that could be my skin type and also I like to spray on clothing.
Sillage: My son asked me if I had been baking as I walked past him - I can't bake, baking doesn't feature on my skills list.
Who this is best suited for: It smells very feminine to me but I don't feel fragrance has boundaries or recognises gender.
Try this one, it's a hidden gem and one I will be repurchasing. 😙
