Taking care of dry skin
Dry skin needs enough hydration throughout the year, so make sure to give it what it needs.
You can always trust products that don’t dry your skin out, plus the right moisturiser for dry skin which can also deal with flakiness or itching.
How to Take Care of Dry Skin
Don’t underestimate the importance of a good cleanser and makeup remover. Dry skin will benefit from a makeup removing lotion, oil, or an alcohol-free cleansing toner that won’t dry it out.
After cleansing your skin thoroughly, don’t forget to use a day or night cream for dry skin to keep it hydrated. To double the moisturising effect, you can use a hydrating skin serum or booster before applying your moisturiser and treating yourself to a nourishing face mask at least once a week.
Prevent Your Skin from Drying Out
Preventing your skin from getting too dry should be a part of your daily ritual. Here are a few handy tips:
- In winter, add some moisturising oils to your bath and don’t sit in the tub too long.
- Dry your body gently after a shower, don’t rub your skin too hard, and apply a moisturising product within 3 minutes.
- Drink plenty of water and avoid spicy food.
