Tutorial: Try #regencycore for yourself. The Bridgerton makeup style

The whole series is set in the Regency era – but fortunately, the music and makeup are contemporary. Perfect but natural skin, soft blusher on the cheeks, and those mesmerising eyes are perfect for a ball or a walk in the palace gardens. How do you do this look?

How to do Bridgerton makeup:

1. Start with the Yves Saint Laurent Touche Éclat Blur Primer, to brighten your skin and help your makeup last all day.
2. You’ll need a dewy complexion, of course, so even out your skin tone with the Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Wear Care & Glow illuminating foundation. For a natural look, work it in with a makeup sponge.
3. Apply the Yves Saint Laurent Touche Éclat Radiant Touch highlighter to the under-eye area and the centre of the face to make your skin really glow.

First, set your eyebrows in place with the gel, then draw in the individual hairs with the pencil. Natural is the key here.
5. Blusher is the cornerstone of the entire look. So don’t be afraid to apply several layers. Try the Shiseido InnerGlow CheekPowder, in the shade Alpen Glow. Run it lightly over your 

6. Add depth to your eyes with the Lancôme Hypnôse Palette 5 Couleurs, using the shade Nude Sculptular. Use a pink eyeshadow from this palette to colour the entire lid and the dark eyeshadow to accentuate the outer corner.

7. Light up the inner corner with the Lancôme Idôle Tint liquid eyeshadow, in the shade Sunburst.

8. Get eyelashes like a blinking doll with several layers of the Yves Saint Laurent Mascara Volume Effet Faux Cils.

9. For perfectly kissable lips, you’ll need the Lancôme L’Absolu Rouge Drama Matte lipstick, in the shade French Tea.
