Composition of the fragrance:
You’ll be surprised by the initial notes of mysterious red berries in combination with ripe raspberries and citrus. The sweetness will then be replaced by the aroma of fresh rose and violet. The delicate prologue concludes with strong base notes made up of oriental sandalwood, resin and earthy musk.
Story of the fragrance:
The Guerlain Insolence fragrance carries with it a large portion of fascinating French history, as it was created for the Empress Eugénie, wife of Napoléon III, in 1853. The master perfumer behind this fragrance was none other than Pierre-François-Pascal Guerlain. The fragrance also has a unique pink-purple flacon with a golden lid that references the spectacular French craftsmanship.
