Composition of the fragrance:
The fragrance opens with the piquant freshness of the citrus notes of orange, bergamot and lemon. The whole composition of the fragrance is then intensified through the spicy heart notes, which marry together nutmeg and pepper. These are immediately replaced by vetiver, tobacco and tonka bean, the unison of which lasts the longest.
Story of the fragrance:
The origins of the Guerlain Vétiver Eau de Toilette can be traced back to the 1950’s. At that time, the Guerlain family decided to create an original fragrance based on vetiver root. After several attempts, they managed to produce a gentle, woody essence, enriched by the unusual combination of spices and tobacco.
