This Medela pump uses a 2-phase expression technology inspired by a baby’s natural sucking reflex in which the baby stimulates the flow of milk with short and quick sucks before slowing the sucking action down to ensure the optimal flow of milk. This technology increases the flow of milk and reduces the time needed to express. The closed system means that you don’t need to worry about milk getting into the tubes or motor during pumping.
