A richly layered fragrance framed by resins and woods
Nishane Shinanay Extrait de Parfum does not move in a straight line. Instead, it builds in layers, where fresh green sharpness coexists with dense florals and gradually gives way to a darker, more enveloping warmth. The composition feels deliberate, almost architectural, yet never rigid.
- oriental floral fragrance shaped by progression and contrast
- combines bright green-citrus facets with deep floral and resinous tones
- unisex scent with a complex and long-lasting presence
Composition of the fragrance:
Citrus and aldehydic notes provide brightness, sharpened by galbanum and elemi. Gardenia, tuberose and magnolia create a rich floral presence, softened by lily-of-the-valley and enriched with mastic. Opoponax and balsams introduce warmth and depth, while sandalwood and cedarwood add smoothness. Civet and oakmoss create a darker, more grounded finish.
Story of the fragrance:
Part of Nishane’s Experimental Collection, Shinanay was conceived as a response to the boundaries of classical composition. Rather than following a predictable path, it builds tension between opposing forces – brightness and density, sweetness and shadow. The result reflects a deliberate move toward more expressive, less constrained perfumery, where each phase feels intentional yet open-ended.
