Composition of the fragrance:
Saffron and pink pepper bring the opening a vibrant spiced warmth, while dates add a soft, sun-ripened sweetness. Rose accord, freesia, orange flower absolute and jasmine form a generous floral core with a poised, luminous character. Ugandan vanilla absolute, broom and amber create smooth warmth, followed by musk, fir resin and amberwood for a rounded woody-resinous impression.
Story of the fragrance:
Ormonde Jayne Ta'if Eau de Parfum takes its name from the town of Ta’if, set above the shores of the Red Sea and overlooking the Arabian desert. This rose does not seek daylight delicacy; it prefers dusk, night, parties, promises and assignations. Linda Pilkington’s own journey in Arabia also shaped the creation – a welcoming date drink and a box of Medjool dates made date oil an essential pillar of the formula. Opulent and assured, Ta’if enters like the belle of the ball, sweeping everything else to one side.
