Tutorial: Easy Eyebrow Grooming Hacks

Eyebrows are, of course, a subject to fashion trends. Over the course of the past 30 years, you’ve probably witnessed eyebrow shapes go from thin lines to bushy “caterpillars” on the faces of the majority of models and actresses. But the ideal approach is to ignore the trends and cherish what you already have. To do this, you’ll need high-quality eyebrow products. 

How can you groom your eyebrows?

1. First of all, brush your brows through with an eyebrow brush and pluck any excess hairs with tweezers. If you’re scared of tweezers and plucking, use an eyebrow razor.
2. If you don’t want to tint your eyebrows in on a daily basis, you may find it more convenient to use an eyebrow tint. But be careful, eyebrow dye won’t come off with makeup remover.
3. Brush your eyebrows into the desired shape and start filling them in with an eyebrow pencil. It’s the easiest way to add some colour to your brows. You can fill them in entirely for a more glamorous effect, or use individual hair-like strokes for a softer look. Keep brushing them out continuously to see the overall effect. You should go for a cool-toned eyebrow pencil. These pencils have a greyish undertone, so they are able to mimic your natural eyebrow hairs. If you pick a warm-toned pencil, the result will look unnatural. Of course, if you have fiery red hair, you can’t go wrong with warm tones.
4. To keep your eyebrows brushed up and filled in exactly as you want them all day, set them with mascara or brow gel. Not only does it not budge at all, but mascara coats the individual hairs, making your eyebrows stand out more. You can opt for a clear mascara for a natural or daytime look, and reach for a tinted one if you’re going for a wow effect.
