My favourite multi-use product has got to be lipstick! It’s the one item I never leave behind when I need to create a perfect look in minutes. I most often reach for the Yves Saint Laurent Loveshine Lipstick, because it offers the colour of a classic lipstick while brightening your complexion and nourishing your lips. Doesn’t that sound like the perfect combo? And, let’s be honest, pulling it out makes me feel like an absolute queen – who wouldn’t want that?! I apply the lipstick in three places – eyes, cheeks and lips – to achieve a gorgeous monochromatic look.

The brown pencil is an absolute lifesaver

I’ll admit that TikTok inspired me, but the hype is real! A brown pencil is one of the best products and an absolute must-have in your everyday makeup bag. It can be either a brown eye pencil or a lip liner. I prefer a lip pencil as it offers more control and is easier to blend. So it’s ideal for use on your lips, as well as your eyebrows (if you have darker hair), as eyeliner and, somewhat surprisingly, even as contour. Yes, you heard that right!

With the Mac Cosmetics Lip Pencil, I outline areas I’d typically contour – under the cheekbones, along the nose, and even on the eyelids if I want to add depth. Then I simply blend it with my fingers to achieve a naturally contoured look in seconds.
