Tutorial: Glamorous Purple Makeup for the Christmas Party

How to do the perfect makeup for your Christmas party (but not just for that)

1. For great makeup, you need great skin. Even it out with foundation, cover any imperfections with concealer and set it with powder.
2. Continue with perfect eyebrows. Touch them up with eyebrow pencil and set with mascara.
3. Use a black Max Factor Kohl Kajal Liner eye pencil to create a halo effect on the eyes. This means that you apply eyeliner to the outer and inner corners, blending it in completely and leaving the centre of the lid light.
4. Apply the purple “Pluto” eyeshadow from the Eveline Cosmetics Mystic Galaxy palette to the upper and lower lids over the blended pencil. Use the brown “Earth” eyeshadow to highlight the arch of your brow bone.
5. Use the magenta “Venus” on the light area in the centre of the lid and blend it with the rest of the eye makeup.
6. For an extra-glamorous look, add a cat’s-eye look to the upper lid using a bevelled brush with the NYX Professional Makeup Epic Black Mousse Liner gel. Start in the middle of the eyelid and draw a line outwards towards the temples. Draw an upwards flick and then connect the line from the middle to the inner corner.
7. Enhance the upper and lower lashes with several coats of the Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky High mascara.
8. If you want extra-long and thick eyelashes, apply Ardell Naked Lashes false eyelashes. They enlarge and accentuate the entire eye. However, if you use lashes that are too long, the whole look can become visually closed and smaller.
9. Finish the whole look with perfect lips. Colour them with the kiss-proof Maybelline SuperStay Matte Ink lipstick in “Seductress”. It can handle anything!
