All the trends have been here before and will be again in a few years. This is also the case with the smoky grunge makeup that everyone wore in the nineties, so why not go back to the past now? We have a guide for you!
Add a pinch of rebellion to your life and try grunge-style makeup. Dark smoky eye makeup and lips full of raw 90s energy are perfect for the evening, but you don't have to be afraid of them during the day either. You just need a little courage. So let’s do it!
All the trends have been here before and will be again in a few years. This is also the case with the smoky grunge makeup that everyone wore in the nineties, so why not go back to the past now? We have a guide for you!
1. Even out your skin tone with foundation or a tinted moisturiser, cover any imperfections with a concealer and set everything with powder. Accentuate your cheeks with a blusher.
2. Frame your eyes with NARS Eyeshadow Stick, rebellion shade, and spread it until it blends in with your skin with a brush. Work fast – the pencil dries quickly.
3. For a really striking look, add the Lancôme Le Crayon Khôl black pencil and spread it with your finger.
4. Apply the dark shade from the Urban Decay Naked3 palette to your upper and lower eyelids and spread it.
5. Make your upper and lower inner eyeline dark with Lancôme Le Crayon Khôl to make your look really dramatic.
6. Now it’s time for your eyelashes and several layers of Yves Saint Laurent Lash Clash Extreme Volume mascara. If the mascara accidently gets onto your eyelid, don’t worry – it fits this look really well.
7. Contour your lips first and shade them lightly with Lancôme Idôle Lip Liner, million-dollar berry shade.
8. Finally, add Estée Lauder Pure Color Envy Lip Volumizer lip gloss.
