Sometimes the simplest beauty goal — achieving a natural bronze glow — becomes the starting point for something much bigger. BYROKKO turned that idea into a brand when Slovenian founders Rok and Anita Stifter launched their first tanning products in 2017.

The project began as a start-up concept developed at the University of Ljubljana, where the founders presented the idea that would later become Shine Brown. Their first tanning cream quickly gained popularity among tanning enthusiasts thanks to formulas designed to support faster, deeper tanning results while still caring for the skin. BYROKKO products are developed using carefully selected naturally derived ingredients and are produced in Europe. All products in the range are vegan and cruelty-free, reflecting the brand’s commitment to responsible beauty and conscious production.

The Shine Brown collection remains the centre of the brand’s tanning range. Products such as BYROKKO Shine Brown Tan Up! tanning accelerator, BYROKKO Shine Brown Chocolate tanning cream and BYROKKO Shine Brown Peach tanning oil are created to enhance the tanning process while leaving the skin soft and nourished. Over time, BYROKKO expanded its portfolio beyond tanning oils and creams to include self-tanning solutions for year-round colour, as well as skincare and hair-care lines such as the Coconut Bomb collection, creating a broader routine designed to support skin and hair before, during and after sun exposure.
