Composition of the fragrance:
First, you’ll notice the refreshing notes of juicy lemon and bergamot with the light spiciness of pink pepper. Your senses will then be delighted by warm cedar wood, herbal essences of angelica, and the impressive galbanum with its spicy character. The base of the whole composition is built on agarwood, sandalwood, and musk, giving the fragrance more depth.
Story of the fragrance:
Creed Royal Oud from 2011 was designed by Olivier Creed, a top perfumer from the sixth generation of the Creed dynasty. He was inspired by the basic elements of the Persian royal palace – wood, leather, marble, and gold. Just like many other Creed fragrances, the incredibly stylish and luxurious bottle of Royal Oud features the word “millesime” – a stamp of quality expressing that only the best raw materials available that particular year were used in the manufacturing of the fragrance.
