The Sensuality of Ambergris, the Minimalism of a Single Molecule

Ambergris used to be the rarest ingredient in perfumery – difficult to obtain and unmistakable. Escentric Molecules Molecule 02 unisex Eau de Toilette contains 100% ambroxide – a laboratory created molecule that is its most faithful counterpart. Because of this, a clean, delicately mineral veil is created, one that is not intrusive, but gradually develops into a sparkling, sensual aura.

Composition of the fragrance:
No layering of ingredients. The fragrance of Molecule 02 is based exclusively on ambroxide, a synthetic form that most faithfully reflects the character of natural ambergris. Because of this, the fragrance gradually unfolds, blending with your skin and creating a subtle, yet impressive impression. Light, elegant, and deeply personal.

Story of the fragrance:
Ambroxide was isolated from plant sources in 1950 as an ethical and affordable alternative to natural ambergris, which is extremely rare today. While regular perfumes contain only 1–2% of this ingredient, Molecule 02 Eau de Toilette offers its maximum concentration.

About the brand Escentric Molecules

When they were first launched in 2006, Escentric Molecules perfumes became an absolute worldwide phenomenon. Their success lies in their totally unique composition, which is often built on the strength of a single component of the fragrance. This minimalism makes the Escentric Molecules scents highly unusual.

Escentric Molecules celebrates perfumery like the art of chemistry. The aroma molecule of Iso E Super, the key ingredient of these niche perfumes, was created in laboratories as far back as in 1973.

However, the perfumery world neglected it until it was completely isolated by the Berlin perfumer Geza Schoen. He created two fragrances – Escentric Molecules Molecule 01 and Escentric Molecules Molecule 02 – which this special fragrance component combines.

Escentric Molecules niche perfumes are long-lasting and are made for people who like to find extravagant and original things. Their novel aroma conjures up a once-in-a-lifetime story for every individual’s skin.
