The elegant fragrance of vetiver as you've never known it

Did you know that vetiver essential oil was used in ancient Indian perfumes? It was called the 'oil of tranquillity', and it is known that its aroma reduces anxiety and promotes mental clarity. Escentric Molecules Molecule 03 eau de toilette, the main component of which is the hybrid molecule vetiveryl acetate, will help you find long-lost harmony. Take a whiff and let yourself be whisked away by its delicate, bitter-fresh essence.

Composition of the fragrance:
The Molecule 03 fragrance contains a single fragrant component: vetiveryl acetate. This molecule, obtained from the roots of an Indian grass, is the most prominent component of the fragrance. But as opposed to natural oil, its aroma is more delicate and cleaner. It is reminiscent of citruses, the green fragrance of grass and dry wood.

Story of the fragrance:
in this fragrance, fearless perfume designer Geza Schoen gives life to a mysterious molecule – half natural, half synthetic. In his words, its aroma is reminiscent of vetiver itself, but is more refined. In addition, during the production process a grapefruit note comes to the forefront, which is virtually imperceptible in natural vetiver.

About the brand Escentric Molecules

When they were first launched in 2006, Escentric Molecules perfumes became an absolute worldwide phenomenon. Their success lies in their totally unique composition, which is often built on the strength of a single component of the fragrance. This minimalism makes the Escentric Molecules scents highly unusual.

Escentric Molecules celebrates perfumery like the art of chemistry. The aroma molecule of Iso E Super, the key ingredient of these niche perfumes, was created in laboratories as far back as in 1973.

However, the perfumery world neglected it until it was completely isolated by the Berlin perfumer Geza Schoen. He created two fragrances – Escentric Molecules Molecule 01 and Escentric Molecules Molecule 02 – which this special fragrance component combines.

Escentric Molecules niche perfumes are long-lasting and are made for people who like to find extravagant and original things. Their novel aroma conjures up a once-in-a-lifetime story for every individual’s skin.
