As consumer needs have evolved and as our technology has advanced, we have spent more than 7 years reimagining our iconic Double Wear Stay-in-Place formula. We have kept everything that our consumers love about the original formula but have added more skin-caring benefits, made it more breathable and buildable, and even longer-wearing.

All 54 of our existing shades are available in the new formula. Our experts recreated the same skin-true match for our existing shades, comparing every shade of the new formula on real skin until it blended just as seamlessly as it did in the original formula.
Through multiple rounds of testing on real consumers across all skin undertones and intensities, we were able to maintain the color true match of the original shades but made them even more true-to-skin because of the enhanced color-treated micro pigments and a more dimensional matte finish.

The New Double Wear is our thinnest matte formula yet, more buildable and breathable for a similar medium-to-full coverage. The original was loved for its natural matte finish – we’ve kept the finish but made it a more dimensional, full-of-life matte that never falls flat. This new formula was designed with a more fluid, flexible texture that allows for easy layering, more buildability and customizable coverage.

The Double Wear Makeup Pump is an added feature for consumer preferences. Some prefer to pour straight from the bottle – others like the control of a pump. For those who do, we offer a reusable pump – a small shift in alignment with our commitment to sustainability  –  while allowing the consumer to choose what works best for them. This allows the consumer to invest in the pump once and reuse with each new bottle.
