If you want to beautifully mattify skin, set makeup and achieve smooth finish without patches, powder puff is a safe choice.
A powder puff is used to apply and blend powder into the skin so that the result looks natural and even and lasts as long as possible. By gently pressing the powder into the makeup, it extends its wear and minimises shine.
While a brush is ideal for light powdering, a powder puff offers greater control over the result and a more professional finish.
Why Choose It?
Consider the size, material and shape.
The large powder puff is perfect for quickly touching up your entire face, while the small one is ideal for details such as the areas around the eyes and nose. The mini powder puff fits right in your purse and is great for quick touch-ups on the go.
The two main types are:
Pick up a small amount of powder and gently press the puff onto the skin. Work in small sections and avoid rubbing back and forth to prevent smudging the makeup. The powder will blend beautifully with the makeup, mattifying, evening out, and smoothing the skin.
Ideally, wash the powder puff once a week with lukewarm water and a gentle soap or a special cleaner for cosmetic tools. Gently rub it with soap and rinse thoroughly. Lightly squeeze out excess water and allow it to air dry.
Once the powder puff starts to harden, the powder sticks to it, or it can no longer be properly cleaned, it’s time to replace it. With regular use, we recommend replacing it every 2–3 months, or more often if you have problematic skin.
