Description GUERLAIN L'Heure Bleue
Ingredients

Imagine the unique moment when the sun sets beyond the horizon, but night has not yet fallen. It is the hour when time stops, when we feel absolutely in harmony with the world and the light. The true magic of this moment is captured in the Guerlain L'Heure Bleue Eau de Toilette for women.

Notes of violet and iris play the main role in the composition of the fragrance, complemented by delicious vanilla, which absolutely caresses your senses.

  • a floral fragrance with oriental and powdery notes
  • created in 1912 by Jacques Guerlain
  • inspired by the hour between sunset and a night full of stars

Composition of the fragrance
The opening is marked by aromatic aniseed and refreshing citrusy notes of bergamot. The middle notes open out into carnation and neroli, which add the scent of seduction. The base notes of the fragrance, which last longest on the skin, have oriental and powdery notes. This is due to violets, iris, delicious vanilla, benzoin and exotic tonka beans.

Story of the fragrance
Guerlain L’Heure Bleue was created in 1912 by Jacques Guerlain. He was inspired by his favourite time of day, when the sun is setting beyond the horizon, the sky turns a velvety violet colour, and the stars are yet to come out. The luxury Art Nouveau bottle, which reflects the romantic character of the fragrance perfectly, was designed by Georges Chevalier.
