Composition of the fragrance
Cartier L’Envol combines the sweet aroma of the most delicate honey with the lightness of iris and refreshing citrus notes. You can then also smell intense patchouli combined with the captivating warmth of guaiac wood. The base notes of the fragrance are underlined by the pure sensuality of animalistic musk.

Story of the fragrance
The Cartier fragrance is inspired by aviation and its name L’Envol literally translates to ‘flight”. Mathilde Laurent, the in-house perfumer for Cartier, was inspired by a mead drink believed to bestow immortality. The Eau de Parfum bottle is designed in such a way that the fragrance appears to float freely inside, enclosing the scent as a sort of capsule of life.
