Gap is an American brand known throughout the world, which focuses on stylish, relaxed, and elegant clothing for young people. Its slogan is: ‘Style in everything you do. Spontaneity in everything you wear.’
The first Gap store was opened in San Francisco in 1969 by Donald Fisher and his wife Doris. Since then, the brand has expanded rapidly, both geographically and also by buying four other clothing brands: Banana Republic, Old Navy, Piperlime, and Athleta.
