To choose the right anti-dandruff shampoo, it is important to know whether you suffer from dry or oily dandruff. What is the difference between them?
Is often small, white, dry and light flakes, falling from the hair onto the shoulders. It is usually caused by a dry scalp, irritation from unsuitable hair products or washing the hair too frequently. Mild anti-dandruff shampoos with hydrating ingredients can help.
These are larger, yellowish and greasy areas. They stick to the scalp and can form flakes. They are usually caused by excessive sebum production, Malassezia fungus overgrowth, poor hair hygiene or hormonal changes. Shampoos for oily dandruff, which regulate sebum and fight yeast, work well on them.

What I liked most: The Vichy Dercos Anti-Dandruff shampoo quickly relieved my unpleasant itchy scalp, and after just a few uses, I noticed a significant reduction in dandruff. In my opinion, it's the best anti-dandruff shampoo. It's my favourite product for my fine hair!
Advantages: It is dermatologically tested and suitable for sensitive skin, which I really appreciate. I like medical cosmetics in general, and Vichy is no exception.
Disadvantages: I found the strong fragrance slightly unpleasant. I can imagine that some people might find it off-putting.

What I liked most: What I liked most about the Wella Professionals Invigo Scalp Balance shampoo was its hydrating formula, which doesn't dry out the hair. For me, it was a winner in every way, so I'm giving it my personal title of Best Anti-Dandruff Shampoo!
Advantages: A really gentle shampoo that feels very pleasant on the scalp. Ideal for the gentle care of hair with dandruff.
Disadvantages: I think it will work better on dry scalp dandruff than on oily dandruff, which is larger, tends to stick to the scalp and has an oily appearance.

What I liked most: The Uriage DS Hair Anti-Dandruff Treatment Shampoo is an excellent choice for irritated and sensitive scalps. I am very satisfied and it has been a great help! Probably the best anti-dandruff shampoo for men... The shampoo soothes after every wash and my dandruff almost disappeared after 14 days.
Advantages: The shampoo is sulphate-free and suitable for everyday use, which suits me well. I am used to washing my hair frequently, particularly after working out.
Disadvantages: Compared to other anti-dandruff shampoos, it does not lather much, which may not suit everyone.

What I liked most: I loved the Alfaparf Milano Semi Di Lino Scalp Rebalance shampoo for its delicate citrus and floral fragrance and rich lather, which meant that only a small amount was needed each time.
Advantages: Hydrates and regenerates the scalp, cleanses it. Sulphate-free. The ideal choice for my coloured hair, which I regularly treat with blonde highlights and colour.
Disadvantages: To see a noticeable reduction in dandruff, I had to use it more often and for a longer period of time. But it was worth the wait!

What I liked most: I found the L'Oréal Professionnel Serie Expert Scalp Advanced to be a really intensive scalp cleanser. I appreciate its vegan formula and, above all, its effects, which are noticeable after the very first use!
Advantages: A great choice for oily dandruff, as I feel it slightly dries out my hair and scalp overall.
Disadvantages: It can slightly dry out the ends, which may not suit women with very long and fine hair that is prone to breakage.

What I liked most: I like Kérastase hair care products, so I wanted to try their anti-dandruff shampoo. I like that it is suitable for sensitive scalps and all hair types. It helps mainly with dry dandruff and beautifully hydrates the scalp.
Advantages: You can use it every day, which suits me perfectly. I have fine hair, which gets very dirty with sweat and sand several times a week due to my beach volleyball training. Frequent washing is therefore a necessity for me.
Disadvantages: The shampoo is relatively expensive and runs out quickly if used frequently... Therefore, only use a small amount. It lathers well, so a little goes a long way!

What I liked most: Everyone will love the La Roche-Posay Kerium Anti-Dandruff with salicylic acid and zinc, especially those with oily dandruff. The shampoo cleanses the hair, regulates sebum and oily dandruff, and hydrates at the same time. My personal favourite!
Advantages: Dermatologically tested, reduces dandruff formation over the long term. Just perfect!
Disadvantages: It has a rather specific fragrance, which may not suit everyone.
