Concealer
A concealer is a great tool, whether you’re fighting dark circles under your eyes or discolouration or simply want to brighten your skin.
We usually apply concealer under our eyes and subtly around our nose or in the middle of our forehead or chin and always work it into our skin with a damp sponge or brush. A concealer lightens the dark circles under your eyes, covers spots and brightens the area around your nose and lips. The optimal shade is half to one shade lighter than your foundation. To avoid your concealer smudging, it’s a good idea to set it lightly with powder.
Setting makeup
Setting sprays help your makeup stay on better, and then it isn’t prone to smudging and lasts all day and night. Some setting sprays have a mattifying effect, while others moisturise or deliver radiance to your skin. Apply the spray with your eyes closed from an arm’s length away and don’t skimp on the amount.
Powder is most likely to be present in almost every woman’s toiletry bag. It doesn’t matter if you have loose or compact powder, because they both set your foundation just as effectively. Always apply it from the centre of the face outwards, i.e. from the top of the nose towards the cheeks, forehead and chin, and use a smaller amount to avoid creating a mask effect on the face.
