For over a quarter of a century, American designer Marc Jacobs has been pushing the boundaries of global fashion. His work is unique, unpredictable, and inspiring. The secret to his success lies in his fearlessness, his desire to go against the grain, and his exploration of unexpected beauty.
Marc Jacobs was born in the 1960s in New York and graduated from Parson’s School of Design. He designed his first collection under his own name in 1986, and a year later, he became the youngest award-winning designer in the world. The 1990s were equally successful for Marc Jacobs. He founded his own brand and was later appointed as the creative director of the fashion house Louis Vuitton, where he created the company's first ready-to-wear collection. Since 2013, he has focused solely on his own creations.
