Composition of the fragrance
The fragrance of V Canto Ricina opens with bittersweet fruity notes of energetic Sicilian bergamot, refreshing orange, sweet peach and juicy red plums. They dance gracefully around an opulent bouquet that hides the intoxicating aroma of jasmine, delicate notes of white iris, heady peony and delicious notes of orange blossom. The whole composition is then underlined by precious exotic woods, which are echoed by earthy patchouli and sweet Cambodian oud softened by sweet accords of sandalwood and fresh oak moss.
Story of the fragrance
This perfume extract is inspired by the castor plant - a colourful plant of extraordinary beauty, full of attractive fruits and with the ability to bloom all year round. In the past, Lucrezia was also very fond of it. She used it to decorate her gardens, and moreover, it represented for her a masterfully hidden poison for which there is still no antidote.
