Composition of the fragrance:
In its opening notes, this fragrance delivers the spicy freshness of olibanum and elemi, blurred by dark drops of evocative ink. This is eventually joined by the carmine aroma of Damask rose, which gives this fragrance a tenderness and delicacy. In the base we find unbridled waves of sweet vanilla and aromatic myrrh with the rich, yet subtle essence of sandalwood and cedarwood.

The Amouage Opus XII: Rose Incense Eau de Parfum is as enigmatic as it is enchanting. Through it, the parfumier Bruno Jovanic references the famous film Citizen Kane and its mysterious line, ‘Rosebud’. In the parfumier’s vision, this fragrance is like an impressionistic constellation of bright moments which occasionally jump out of our distant childhood memories.
