Tutorial: A Beautiful Bronze Makeup Look for a Summer Day

2-minute read

Still haven’t found the perfect makeup look for summer? Look no further. Here’s a simple bronze makeup tutorial for you. When else to look like a bronze goddess but today! Let’s give it a go.

Grab your favourite brushes and let’s work some magic! And don’t worry. Even if you don’t get a look that screams “maybe she was born with it” the first time, but instead one that’s more “she’s slept with her face in bronzer all night”, it’s all just a game. You can always start over!

How to Create a Bronze Makeup Look

  1. Use a tinted moisturiser or foundation and do your eyebrows with a brow mascara or pencil
  2. Apply the lightest shade of the Lancôme Hypnôse Palette 5 Couleurs Bronze Absolu palette to the inner corners of your eyes. It will brighten up your entire look.
  3. Use the bronze shade on the entire eyelid and fill in your upper lash line with the darkest shade. You want the greatest colour intensity to be in the outer corner of the eye.
  4. Apply the GUERLAIN Terracotta Light bronzing powder to the face areas that tan first. In other words, to the cheeks, sides of the nose bridge and forehead. Start light-handed; you can always add more.
  5. Apply several coats of the Yves Saint Laurent Mascara Volume Effet Faux Cils to your lashes for extra-long and thick lashes.
  6. Highlight the bridge of your nose and the high points of your cheekbones with the MAC Cosmetics Extra Dimension Skinfinish highlighter.  And don’t forget about your Cupid’s bow.
  7. Use the Estée Lauder Pure Color Matte Lipstick; it is matte and lasts all day.
