Juniper Sling is a woody, oriental, spicy fragrance for men and women from the portfolio of the British niche perfumier Penhaligon’s. In creating its highly reputable perfumes, Penhaligon’s, which was founded in 1870, is proud not only of its rich history but also an unusually personal approach, based on a deep understanding of the emotional power of fragrance.
Juniper Sling Eau de Toilette was created in 2011 by the famous perfume designer Olivier Cresp, who was inspired by the iconic London Dry Gin and the atmosphere connected with it. The original fragrance composition of Penhaligon’s Juniper Sling opens in the head with accords of cinnamon, orange, brandy, angelica and – what else with a perfume inspired by gin? – juniper berries. The heart fragrance is cardamom, leather, black pepper and iris root and the base is made up of notes of cane sugar, cherry, vetiver and ambroxan. The overall aroma combines aromatic, woody and fresh spicy sides with green and warm spicy and amber aspects, resulting in a fantastically intoxicating, exciting and sparkling cocktail.
Penhaligon’s Juniper Sling Eau de Toilette is especially suitable for daily wear in the warmer months. It will appeal to lovers of quality gin and fun and everyone who loves an original woody, spicy scent with a distinctive aroma.
