The secret of a harmonious look is, in my opinion, its integral nature. This means that even though we create a very natural look, for example, we still touch every part of the face. We are going to show you very subtle and simple eyebrow make-up that will take any of your looks to a whole new level.

Laminated or with defined hairs, angular or as thin as a thread – eyebrows are one of the parts of our face that are most subject to trends. There are pros and cons to this – super modern eyebrows can look very fresh, it's just a good idea not to take irreversible steps (like we all plucked our eyebrows in the late nineties) and also not to miss out on a trend change. After all, the shape and grooming of eyebrows often give away our age more than grey hairs.

So, let's try a very simple and natural routine for eyebrow make-up which never fails.

The best micro-pencils and brow gels

Micro-pencils are heroes

The key to natural-looking eyebrows is the ability to draw lines which resemble hairs as much as possible. To do this, we can use an eyebrow pencil or eyebrow pomade which we can apply with a brush. It's important to really touch up individual hairs so that we don't create a clumpy shape, which can look cumbersome. I will show you how to draw hairs in detail in the video.

Colour in the starring role

Whether you opt for a pencil, a felt-tip pen or eyebrow soap, it is important that the colour of the product matches the colour of your eyebrows as closely as possible, not your hair. It is often the case that it is darker or colder than your hair. If, on the other hand, your eyebrows are very light, then you can afford to match the colour of your eyebrows more closely to your hair colour, for example going a little red or brown. For dark haired women, it will usually be a colder shade of brown.

Volumizing brow gels

How to achieve perfect eyebrows

Step 1: Brush your eyebrows in the direction of their hair growth. See where they are growing in a different direction and assess where there are fewer hairs.

Step 2: Draw individual hairs gradually in between your own, sticking to the direction of growth – this means that in the outer third of your eyebrows you might even draw downwards.

Step 3: Next, step back from the mirror, and check the overall impression of your makeup.

Step 4: If you are satisfied with the result, brush your eyebrows again, and set them with clear or coloured brow gel.

As I like to say, eyebrows aren't twins, they're sisters, so take it that they don't have to be exactly the same. But if you follow what nature has given you, you won't go far wrong. I wish you beautifully groomed and styled eyebrows!
