Materials of baby cups
Baby cups are made of safe materials such as silicone and plastic.
- A plastic baby cup is durable, light and usually can be put in a dishwasher. However, it is not suitable for hot drinks.
- A glass cup is completely safe from a health standpoint, it’s easy to clean and doesn’t absorb odours. That said, it’s not impact-resistant and tends to be a bit heavier.
- A silicone baby cup is typically light, soft, durable and can be used for hot drinks.
- A polypropylene cup has similar characteristics to a plastic cup, plus it doesn’t contain BPA.
